Day 799 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing

Today’s game is Fallout 3. My network has been out all evening. So i chose to take this as an opportunity to play some Fallout 3.

First thing I did was I made my way back to the metro I got my ass kicked in last time before crashing. I got my ass kicked again though so I went back and did some questing to get better gear. Then I came back and cleared the floor.

The main quest I did was the survivor’s guide. It sent me to the grocery store, and I killed all the raiders and stole some of their brass knuckles too. Or. I killed all but one. One of them got afraid and ran away, and I felt bad gunning down (or punching down) a surrendering enemy.

After that I went through the metro like I said above. That brought me in contact with the Lyon’s Brotherhood of Steel. I helped them clear out the super mutants with my fancy new brass knuckles. The behemoth came along though and I knew that wasn’t going to cut it so I dropped some land mines and lured it over them.

I experienced another crash though as I was making my way through the rest of the story. The last thing I got to look at was this ghoul’s eyeball. I decided that was a fitting place to stop.

I’m enjoying this a lot. It feels a lot more balanced compared to New Vegas in terms of leveling and such. New Vegas I do love the difficulty though. I suppose it’s two different things.

Anyways, I’m gonna sink some more time into this tomorrow. I want to see how it compares to what I remember it being like when I was younger.
