I watched an artist evolve from producing rough art to delivering elite, top-tier artwork

I have been playing this adult visual novel from an indie developer while supporting him on Patreon for a few years, and watching his art slowly grow from hilariously bad to actually amazing has made me feel a little proud of the guy.

The game is called Superhuman by WeirdWorld. It’s free on itch io if you want to check it out, despite the early rough art it actually has a very interesting super powers story with great world building, mystery, side characters, etc. Even the male characters, who are usually ignored in this genre, are actually well done, and there is a lot of effort put into them.

Example of two very well written male characters:

No spoilers, I’ll just say the first one aura farms harder than even the MC, lol. You know shit is about to go down as soon as you see him. While, the old guy is such a well-written, morally grey character he can do some horrific shit that makes you want to put him in the villain category, but he’s doing it 100% for the greater good, so it really leaves you conflicted.
