Day 789 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing

Today’s game is some more Halo MCC. I went back and finished the Backrooms mod with my friend. It definitely wasn’t what I was expecting. I’ll spoiler things for anyone that might want to check it out, because it’s like a short 25 minute romp that’s free. But:

It throws “entities” at you midway through. It honestly starts out throwing one at you that kind of startles you. It did this with a narrow hallway. After that though you open up into a larger room and just start mowing them down. Honestly it was kind of cool for a mod that was probably made by someone who was passionate about Halo and the Backrooms.

I also finally tried out the Trench Coat mod with my friend. The mod is basically the idea that one player controls movement and the other aiming. I think our version was bugged because I controlled aiming, shooting, and grenades, while my friend controlled everything EXCEPT aiming.

The mod was interesting. It created this unique challenge where it felt hard, but didn’t feel impossible or even remotely challenging. Like, it was a constant battle but I only died once or twice.

Unfortunately this was the last mission we did for the night because my network decided it loved the idea of crashing out on me. And even now it seems to be giving me issues and not uploading my last image. Tonight I finished the 100% objectives in Assassin’s Creed III as well. Hopefully I’ll be finishing that up tomorrow and starting the DLC. I’ve never played them so I’m excited.
