Day 802 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing

Today’s game is Fallout 3. I didn’t realize how short the main story was for this. For context I just met up with the Brotherhood of Steel before ending off and I’m on my way to get the G.E.C.K. I can’t check exact hours right now but I’d say I’m maybe 15 hours in? Maybe 10. It’s not a strike against it, I like shorter stories, but it’s just something I’ve noticed.

I did Operation Anchorage too today. Binged it all in one go. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was an interesting experience. There’s almost a sort of fun novelty to a more traditional Linear shooter experience recreated in Fallout 3’s janky engine. I couldn’t do a full game of it. But a quick short story is a lot of fun.

The post of the DLC threw me for a loop though. I had been half paying attention to what was going on, so when they mutinied I hadn’t realized what was going on. I almost thought I had stolen something and they were pissed about it.

I went back to the Citadel and sorted myself out. I’ll need to go back and pick up Butch since the DLC dismissed him, but besides that everything else is cleaned up. Dropped off the excess weight I didn’t need at the time and headed back to track down the G.E.C.K.
