Day 798 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing

Today’s game is Assassin’s Creed Liberation. I finished Assassin’s Creed 3 today along with all the DLCs. My child hood self feels a sense of pride at that I suppose. It’s like this big beast I thought unslayable had been taken down.

As for Liberation, I’m fucking loving this. It shows that it’s a PS Vita game in some areas but besides that it’s really good.

I especially love the Persona System. It really contributes to the social stealth in a way I love and I wish we had gotten more. I love having specific outfits that work in specific niches. It almost reminds me of the first game and how you had to stalk enemies for information on the target. I do wish it had been used in that way more here though. It feels like the pieces are there but the final concept isn’t.

I’d love to be able to scout out a target ahead of time in one persons and then break in as another and finish the job. Granted, maybe there’s some technical limitations I’m missing here.

I got as far as Sequence 2 before stopping. I want to go back for more tomorrow so I hope I will. I’m also digging the Animus theme here. It reminds me of like a PowerPoint theme from the 2010s I remember vividly growing up.
